Director's Background

Masood Akhtar has been in business since 1984, completing over 5,500 projects across all service areas. His qualifications include:

  • OND Building Construction
  • HND Civil Engineering (1982)
  • Structural Engineering and Geotechnical design courses (Distinction)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (Loughborough University)

His extensive career includes work with Tameside MBC, West Midlands County Council's Birmingham What's Project, and freelance work on major projects including £10M factory construction, M5 motorway resurfacing, and healthcare facilities.

After establishing his consultancy with government startup assistance (becoming the 5,000th recipient of the Business Enterprise Scheme grant), he has grown MAKS into a group of specialist companies serving diverse construction needs.
